They have listen to the tech community and the tablet is going to come with 512mb of Ram, rather the previously suggested 256mb. Good news.
It does appear that the Andy pad will have a Resistive screen as it has always been primarily aimed at a younger market looking for a cheaper alternative/first tablet, but they HAVE listened to the tech community on this as well and will be releasing an Andy Pad Pro, with a capacitive screen and Front/rear facing camera, with more features to be revealed soon.
The Pro is intended for the same release date and a 'similar' price. Hurrah.

CoPilot Live Premium has just been released on Android and it is on offer for the first 7 days.
During the first week you can get the SatNav full software for £14.99 - afterwards it jumps to its normal price of £29.99.
Unlike Google Maps, it offers offline Navteq maps for when there is no signal, although Google Maps is free of course.
And despite the new name, confusingly the Premium services, such as traffic, will cost extra (currently £9.99 a year).

If you have not already had the message then check under Settings and manually search for an update to make sure you get access to that gingerbread goodness that 2.3 has to offer you.
This update is for Three branded HTC Desire HD devices, anyone with unlocked sim free or handsets supplied by another network might have a longer wait or already be using 2.3 before now

Good news as this hopefully means a release quite quickly. This eagerly awaited phone could be set to be another huge success for Orange and the phonemakers ZTE. This is the obvious successor to the Orange San Francisco ( Aka the ZTE Blade) that was very popular due to a decent specification and low low price of roughly £80, coupled with the phones openness meaning it could be Sim unlocked and customised very easily.
No prices yet, fingers crossed for another bargain.....
